Do I need to download an app to use BharatScan?
No. BharatScan is fully browser-based and works directly in Chrome, Safari, or Firefox on Android and iOS. No app installation, no account, no permissions beyond camera access.
What types of documents can I scan with BharatScan?
Any flat document: Aadhaar, PAN card, marksheets, certificates, property documents, passbooks, bills, appointment letters, and government forms. A4, A5, and foolscap sizes all work.
Does BharatScan fix a tilted or curved photo?
Yes. BharatScan uses OpenCV.js for automatic edge detection and perspective correction — even if you hold your phone at an angle or the document is slightly curled, it straightens and crops the image automatically.
Can I scan multiple pages into one PDF?
Yes. BharatScan lets you capture multiple pages and combines them into a single PDF. You can also add/remove pages before generating the final PDF, then compress the whole document at once.
Does BharatScan upload my documents?
Never. BharatScan runs entirely in your browser. Camera frames are processed locally using WebRTC and Canvas APIs — no frame or image is sent to any server at any point.
